Albrecht Dürer
Elegant, powerful collection
Albrecht Dürer was born on May 21, 1471 in Nuremberg. The father, himself a master goldsmith, had his own shop. Thus, the young Dürer was already born into a craft and it gave him the start to develop his own creative being and work and to perfect his art. The artist Albrecht Dürer is known to this day for his paintings and sketches.
During his lifetime he surrounded himself with highly paid artists such as Raphael, Giovanni Bellini and Leonardo da Vinci. His engravings, paintings and drawings are held in high esteem far beyond the borders of Europe, and above all his techniques and proportional precision continue to fascinate to this day.
We are proud to be able to offer you fine crafted pewter art work as an hommage to his work. Wonderful collector's items in a powerful, elegant collection dedicated to him.
